Schedule
Session One: April 10 Prep! If you have the full kit: What to do with your kit, how to organize, and how to starch your fabrics. If you are choosing your own fabrics: How to choose, what kind of fabric is best, ordering your printed pattern. Both versions: How to label your fabrics and the supplies you’ll need to make the quilt.
Session Two: April 17 Reading and interpreting your pattern. We will start sewing on May 1st, and which sections we’ll start with. Also, we’ll discuss whether you want to cut out all of your fabric before you start, or if you want to cut as you go.
Break Week: April 24
Session Three: May 1 We start sewing! Sections P and Q of the quilt top. I’ll show you the basics of Foundation Paper Piecing, and how to handle these large pieces of fabric.
Session Four: May 8 Fixing mistakes: Four ways
Session Five: May 15 Complete sections T and F.
Session Six: May 22 Check in and tips. “Why I don’t worry about grainline.”
